According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels will attend the NFL Combine this week for interviews and meetings but will not work out in front of scouts.

Instead, Daniels will throw at LSU's Pro Day on March 27.

The combine starts today, Feb. 26, and wraps up on Monday, March 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This doesn't make any sense and therefore must be his agents counsel/decision.

Obviously this is the agents decision and Jayden is doing what he's been advised to do but I hate this. I want to see Jayden run and throw bombs. I want to see them in awe of his athleticism

Again I'm not criticizing Jayden, it's these fricking lawyer agents that make everything into a negotiation. Did Peyton, Brady and Brees compete at the combine?

Good deal. Probably not in ideal shape after going through awards season and taking some time off.
Been almost 2 months, probably needs a little more time working out.

No sense in risking injury or bad test on unfamiliar territory throwing to unfamiliar receivers.

Get your interviews out of the way. Take the wonderlic tests.

He and a bunch of other QBs have been at the Tom House QB school working out from dusk till dawn. He might not be 100% because he’s in the process of altering his mechanics, but he’s been working hard, and hasn’t taken any time off.

Smart for him. They don’t have the timing down with these other WRs. Throw at pro day with the two WRs he knows.

I don't understand this, it is a red flag if you don't want to compete at the combine and are not injured.

Combine is not for the elite that will get drafted top 10. Combine is for a "nobody" to shine. He has nothing to prove. As another said, his timing will be on point at home with his receivers that know him. It's just a different way now.

You should've stopped at "I don't understand this" because the other part is no where near accurate.

Caleb Williams isn’t throwing either.
