LSU Bounces Back In Game Two Of Charleston Classic, Defeats North Texas, 66-62

CHARLESTON, South Carolina – The LSU Basketball team bounced back on Friday morning against North Texas, winning its second game at the Charleston Classic, 66-62, inside TD Arena.
Will Baker had a team-high 16 points and added six rebounds for the Tigers. Derek Fountain had 14 points and a team-high seven rebounds and Jordan Wright added 12 points and six rebounds of his own.
For North Texas, Jason Edwards had a team-high 22 points, Rubin Jones had 15 points and seven rebounds and John Buggs III added 14 points of his own.
The Tigers will next play in the fifth place game on Sunday at either 2 p.m. CT on ESPN2 or 4:40 p.m. CT on ESPN depending on other results from the rest of today’s games.
