Cronkrite's decision, first reported by Ryan Bartow of 247Sports, is of little surprise and reflects the failings of the team's four-tailback rotation.

"We wish Jordan nothing but the best and will do everything we can to support and assist him and help him get what he wants," UF coach Jim McElwain said in a statement.

The 5-foot-11, 204-pound Cronkrite won the starting job during preseason camp, but was injured during an Aug. 19 scrimmage and missed a several practices to open the door for his competition.
Conkrite finished the season with 31 rushing attempts for 145 yards and one touchdown.

Surprising to me that he had so few carries. Seems like I heard Verne Lundquist mangle his last name many, many times this past season.
