You fools sure do make up some shite man. Why the f do you think SF is the most expensive place in the union? What's happening there to make people flock in droves?

SF is incredibly expensive for a few reasons, one being the lack of new space to build (one of the reasons why NOLA is relatively expensive, but people aren't moving there in droves), it's beautiful and, yes, close to where a lot of the companies you reference are located.

It's also not the most expensive place to live in the US, as that would be Manhattan. Hell, SF is 4th, according to Kiplinger, behind the aforementioned, Sunnyvale, and Honolulu.

And, not for nothing, but...
