Heard from several Tulane boosters that they had began to form a search committee earlier this week and that the holdup is regarding Jones' buyout.
They are going to contact Mark Kingston and former LSU and current Ole Miss assistant Cliff Goodwin for sure.
No question it is the top job currently open.

I've read his name from a couple of people. Why is he so well-regarded? I don't know anything about him.
