Hopefully LF watches this film (which is a great by the way, if you get a chance to watch it). In the end Marcus ends up with a job as a truck driver, not that there's anything wrong with that. However, had he stayed home to play college ball in his home state I believe he would have remained a state hero (rather than viewed as one who spurned his home state allegiances) and his job options would have been much different. When you're young you think you're bulletproof. But, as many of us know, that has been disproven innumerable times. Please stay home LF. You may be fortunate to never need us, but if you do, we won't forget you.

This film changed Marcus' life in a big way. He no longer drives a truck, he travels giving speeches and making appearances and is raising horses. Glad to see something good happen for him, he really is a nice guy. Now, if I can just get him to dump his Bama fandom, lol!!!
