i pulled this off of a website
COMFORTIS chewable tablets kill fleas and are indicated for the prevention and treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) on dogs for one month. COMFORTIS chewable tablets are given orally once a month, at the recommended minimum dosage of 13.5 mg/Ib (30 mg/kg).

looks like it kills the fleas and the eggs from what i read. i am doing this just as a preventive measure trying to start him out while he is young trying to train him for duck hunting too.

You the man! Thanks for showing me this. I had no idea. The reason I was quizzing you so hard was because I would do just about anything to get a dog now. And it just may turn out that I might have to stay here a while sadly. I am really going to think hard about this one and may just try the yard spray/medicine tablets you suggested and get me back a dog or two right now. Thanks!
