@wafb @wbrz @theadvocatebr I want to address the misleading claims that I failed to properly apply for a special events permit in February. On April 25th, Councilwoman Denise Amarosa verbally committed to approving our request, with the stipulation that we conclude the event by 10pm. It’s important to note, however, that no Cinco de Mayo celebration in Baton Rouge traditionally ends at this time.

Despite this, evidence clearly shows that our event was indeed approved, albeit the official permit was only issued a few hours before the event was due to start. Subsequently, I faced public criticism and fines for several months, a narrative largely ignored by media outlets.
More Facebook nonsense:

This situation has impacted not just me, but also my family, staff, and vendors, affecting our ability to serve our community effectively.

It’s time to set the record straight and share the actual facts. Is anyone interested in reporting the actual facts? Once I release these recordings, text messages, and emails, some may need to consider updating their resumes!

Then dont lease a restaurant next to a residential neighborhood if you dont want to have to deal with residents wanting peace and quiet when they go to sleep.
