Research the company and have some good questions prepared.
Don't bash any prior employers.
Think of it from their perspective and be able to frame how you are going to add value to their efforts, not just how this job will help advance your career.
If you want the job, tell them that directly after the interview. Literally say you think this job would be a great fit, you would love to be a part of the team, and ask them the timing on next steps.
Afterwards send an email to each person you met with thanking them for their time, following up on any hanging chads or questions, and mentioning that you look forward to hearing back.
