There is not a ton of impressive golf in Shreveport. East Ridge is currently the nicest and best maintained course. It's private, so you'll need a connection to get on.

Querbes and Huntington are muni courses. They are generally in good shape and fun to play, but they are pretty basic and not very impressive. Out of the two, Huntington is the more difficult course, but not in an awesome part of town. Querbes is flat and has no hazards. There are some good restaurants nearby, and it has a nice little club house.

There are a few courses over in East Texas that are supposed to be nice, but I have not played any. Tempest is one I can recall.
