And I wasn’t forced into the military. I did it because what’s left of this country, including people that I don’t agree with, are still worth serving. And I don’t do it for recognition, I posted because I’m sick and tired of hearing about it and to do it strictly as a political stance is bullshite and it has consequences that not everybody else sees.

Be a good little seamen that can’t see the consequences. I was once like you as a young company grade officer. First to volunteer to do extra deployments, more than willing to continue pushing even though I was hurt. Hell I turned down surgery to go on deployment. Now closing in on my 50’s I realize how stupid I was. I am suffering now, can’t walk without pain in the morning. My back goes out from time to time and I have no cartridge in my left knee. The DoD isn’t there for me now. So maybe you won’t have any consequences….but what if there is consequences 10 or 20 years down the road from an experimental drug that HAS NEVER PASSED ANIMAL TRIALS!
