I’m all for the All Valley exemption to the finals for last year’s champion a la Karate Kid III....

They were a playoff team last year. They held Ole Miss to under 80 points too....
W Kentucky - W USF - W @ Wisconsin - W UGA - L @ Vandy - W South Carolina - W @ Tenn - W Mizzou - W @ LSU - L Mercer - W @ Oklahoma - W Auburn - W (waivered on this one) 10-2 being a lock for the playoff. I see it coming down to the Auburn game. If they have improved the way I expect...
Yes, but that's my point. I don't know who will have the better defense. I am hopeful that we will be on the upswing with Baker as DC, but we shall see. ...
I see the following three as being the biggest hurdles, no offense to Bama but the matchups aren’t as favorable: USCw - first game of the season out west, first game with our new look defense against a team that hasn’t been able to stop anybody but has been able to score a lot of points Ole Mi...
Where ya been brother? Still in Florida? Traffic keeps getting worse and worse around here....
Their Neopolitan is fantastic. Started going to HEB around 2005 or so and have never looked back. If I ever have to set foot in a Kroger for a quick stop, I shudder to think how they ever have customers here in Texas with an HEB within a two mile radius of everywhere....

re: LSU FB to play in Ireland?

Well, it would make sense for it to be LSU v ND in Ireland....
Every time another Tiger retires that I remember following during recruiting, it's weird. I remember he was very highly rated and was a big get in that massive 2009 class that was key to the 2011 team. ...
One of our great interior linemen. ...
I feel the same way about Steve van Buren. He was the Jim Brown of his era....
Ole Miss over UGA A&M over Texas Oklahoma over Alabama...

re: College football is ruined

Change can be good or bad. Before SEC expansion in 92, LSU hardly ever played Auburn. LSU and Auburn didn’t play from 1942 to 1969. Almost immediately after the divisions were formed, it became must see football with the 94 Interception Game, 95 Bring Back the Magic, and 96 Barnburner. It became...

re: So… 7 SEC hosts this year?

How deep is the SEC in baseball? So deep that both participants in the national championship series last year are in the SEC, neither will host a regional, and yet the conference will have six or seven host sites anyway....
Auburn. They have awesome unis, a top flight stadium and environment and have some of the nicest fans around. Also it would be cool to have a real stake in the Iron Bowl and Auburn has given it to Bama pretty much as good or better than anyone....
Six of those seasons were with Toledo and Michigan State. If you look at 22 seasons between LSU and Bama, I believe he won half of the possible SEC titles he could possibly win. 9 with Bama and 2 in 5 seasons at LSU....
