Clemson has declined as a program. I guess ESPN doesn't think this will be too competitive. I'm inclined to believe them.

It's Notre Dame. No one cares about 8&4.

They'll probably still be ranked between 10 and 20 at gametime. If this was any other #1 or #2 team playing a top opponent, that would be a prime time game on opening Saturday. ESPN/ABC has some UGA haters.

We are the balance to Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff same shite they did against Arkansas in 2021 when we were both in the top 10

Hearing someone other than Brad & Gary for the WLOCP and SECCG is gonna be weird.

Night game at Bama too.

Lame. Rarely get night games for home games, regardless of matchup, and now playing two night games on the road.

More motivation

It’s gona be so different and it’s gross. TV changes. Conference realignment. More rules changes. It was already tough with all the commercials last year. I wonder what major changes they’re going to make in the next offseason to further ruin the sport.

Is it possible you could get 2 at home and 4 on the road and have half a season of nooners?
@ Texas
@ bama
@ ole miss
WLOCP
VS Tenner
Those are all some really big games I wonder how many will be put up against “fox big noon”

the thing about the "big noon" slot is that the big 10 as a whole had SO few actaully legit, elite matchups that they had to do something. When they got one of those very rare big time matchups that happen so inrequently, going against the SEC's 3:30 slot would make it get lost in teh shuffle so they put it in the early slot instead to make sure they got the nation's eyeballs just on them.

The SEC doesn't have that problem. There are SO MANY big time mathcups that the SEC isn't ever going to have to say "man we are losing so much market share to the Big 10, we're going to ahve to do somethign to compete with them at noon let's put the UGA/Bama [just using that as a hypothetical] game early to compete wiht them".

Sure you're going to get the occasional big time matchup at noon kinda randomly but we aren't ever going to see all the big time games each week get stuck at noon opposed to 330/night.
