Charleston is awesome - I live within 2 hours and the kids and I go several times a year. When I was married, the ex and I stayed at 21 East Battery - great B&B that's central. That way you can walk to the old market, rainbow row, the OMG house, etc. Across the river is the USS Yorktown and USS Laf...
