He came here from Korea in 2nd grade and started watching Auburn football with me. Became a big fan of all things Auburn. He applied to several schools, but Auburn and Purdue were the top rated flight schools. He loves all things Auburn so it was an easy decision.
His father died of diabetes long ago. I was the Auburn influence, but my daughter's husband who was a Top Gun Marine fighter pilot got him interested in flying.
I'm sure he will do well.

God bless you for stepping in and being a strong and dependable male influence in this young man’s life when he needed it. We need more of that. Shoot, I know I wish I had that growing up.
Hope you guys get to watch many, many more AU games together!

Funny thing happened a couple of days ago. My wife and I were eating at Korean hand made noodle place and an older Korean guy walks in wearing a shirt with an Auburn logo. I said "War Eagle," but drew a blank stare.
My wife explained it to him in Korean and he said his daughter made it for him, but she had no Auburn affiliation either. She just liked the logo.

Question for the board. We need advice on our nephew's move to Auburn when classes start in August. My step-daughter is a Stony Brook and lives in a dorm, but at the end of a semester, she has to move out completely. Clearly, if Auburn dorms are the same way, being in NY, is a serious hassle.
I'm thinking he needs to have an apartment off campus if the Auburn rules are similar to Stony Brook.
>50 years ago, I lived in a boarding house so when the summer break rolled around I just kept the room, no moving required.
Any suggestions on off campus housing?
