I’ve seen some chatter on Twitter not liking him. And people IRL have repeated that the fanbase doesn’t like him.

Where is this coming from? From what I’ve seen, most people still like him. I definitely still like him. I don’t really know why you’d let one stupid foul turn you against a player.

What’s your opinion of him and what do you think the fanbase as a whole thinks of him?

Love him. Yeah he does some dumb stuff and should dial back on the blatant elbows, but he mentally fricked with a ton of teams this year.

CBM is probably already in my top 10 favorite players of the Pearl era. Would love to see him come back another year. He does so many things well and he brought a certain edge to the team.

He played great most of the season.

He allowed himself to get tossed at a crucial point of the season.
This may have cost us an extra game or two.

He probably was the best non-post player on this team.

I hate that he got baited so easily. Shows a lack of discipline. Maybe he can learn from it.

He may be a great guy but he comes across as a street player. Nothing wrong with having a little attitude, Im sure all of us can relate.

But, he has been around for a while in college basketball, he should have learned to control himself. Doing what he did, when he did it, is almost inexcusable. Its not like he is some kind of first year player

As far as skillset, he is probably the best player on the team. His skills translate better to the NBA than anyone else we have at the moment. He's hotheaded. I'm sure Yale knew that and baited him into that silly foul. You'd think he would know better by now. But I love his energy and passion. Hopefully he learns how to harness it going forward but I want him back next year.

He’s a great player and super fun to watch. He makes stuff happen on the court and I hope he cones back. Kid made a mistake. It happens. Got nothing but love for CBM.

Got the team going when needed and seemed to be able to do something to spur the offense when it was sputtering. What he did what dumb for sure, but was extremely weak to be thrown out of the game. I haven't heard anything about him leaving, but I really hope he doesn't.

I like him but he needs to dial back the cheeky shite. He's developed a bit of a reputation that cost the team against Yale.

I am all for CBM being an Auburn Tiger, shite happens and he should check his emotions better, but he was a big part of our overall success this year.

Also, it shouldn't have been a F2

CBM needs to realize a few things… he is playing for a SEC school that looks at basketball as a business… stay focused on the goals of the program and cut out the poor decision making…

My opinion is AU is a better basketball team if he returns in the fall than they are if he does not. I suspect he has learned a ton from allowing himself to get baited into an ejection. I'd like to see how much he learned while he's wearing an AU uniform than one of our opponents.

If I could pick one player to come back next year it would be:

1a Broome
1b CBM.

Love the guy.

It isn't just one stupid foul imo. There were several games where he was doing dumb shite leading all the way up to the game where he was ejected.

A really good ball player with a great skill set. Could be a great player if he matures some.

The vitriol on Twitter is disgusting. Everybody screws up at one time or another. Our players should have our love and support. That is one of the things that sets Auburn apart and one of the reasons why these players choose Auburn.

He cost us in the biggest game of the year.

It’s hard to look past that.

He's a great player with a lot of heart. Yale set him up for his ejection likely knowing that he could be volatile if provoked. He needs to work on that weakness.
