I respect all opinions. When I said good for state of MS I mostly was referring to kids in other parts of country seeing good baseball being played and it COULD benefit any school in MS, because with the tight money on number of baseball scholorships, State can't get all of them :-). I said it was good for the STATE of Mississippi. By drawing positive attention to the state, no matter which school, could actually help all in state schools. There is no reason both State and Ole Miss cannot both be very successful. I guess I have a different perspective because I have not lived i...

As a native Mississippian living in Saginaw, Michigan, I can tell you right now I would pull for any of our schools from my native state, no matter who I am a fan of. I happen to be a State grad, so I am thrilled we are at this point, but would always want an SEC team, especially from MS to do well...
