re: Drew weighs in on OC search

Yeah I love Drew, but his optimism (part of what made him great) gets in his way sometimes. It's the reason why he didn't make it past a year on NBC. I still say listen to the interview because he is an amazing speaker....
The difference is DA is a habitual underperformer as a HC. He is similar to Josh McDaniels in that leadership is not something he is built for....
Eli Apple is still playing in this league somehow. If he can keep getting jobs so can MT....
More like one bad decision by the Packers.......

No.....he was the OC with Minnesota in 2021 and had unreal talent on that team. They were very average with some garbage stats bumping them a little higher in rankings. He also was the qb coach and pass game coordinator at Denver in 2022....
His defense is performing very well right now with the Falcons. Why would he come back to the college game? Also, Nielsen is a DL guy, so that would leave Bo Davis out...
You have to get rid of Doug Marrone. The O-line has declined significantly in his two year tenure. It could be argued the fall off is mostly due to Armstead leaving and Ram's deteriorating health, but even our interior has fallen off....
Give Jameis a week with actual game planning and without a broken back. I would take him over Carr with that I should also say with an offensive coordinator that knows how to use play action ...
Or a $35M QB blaming a receiver not in his progression for his own incompetence. There is terrible leadership with the organization, coaches, and QB at this point. Heck, Jameis appears to have better leadership skills than Carr...

There are certain moments where a spread feels blatantly off and in this is one of them. If my losses have taught me anything, the result is almost always the opposite of the obvious choice...
When Cam Newton, and Matt Ryan have one and Drew doesn't, you know it a BS title. Why he didn't get it in 2011 is beyond me..
I get it because Rodgers was unreal in 2011 as well. 2009 was the real robbery....
You're telling me he hasn't flamed out yet? He's the emo version of Andy Dalton at this point while getting paid 5 times more. ...
Correct and so does the QB getting paid $35M this year. The only difference is the guy yelling missed multiple progressions and chose to blame someone who did not have a material impact on the play....

Nick also stated that he wasn't necessarily a fan of the idea. One other thing he mentioned is that some of the things Penning might be messing up are not as clear on film, such as communication and blocking the wrong guy. I'm guessing he thought Penning was improving on film, then pivoted...
Kirby is naturally a good recruiter and refined himself learning from the best recruiter in the country pre-NIL. He copied the system and brought it to a state that has more home-grown talent. He also set the team culture to be the same as Bama's, so in year 2 he was already in the national ti...

re: Garrett Hartley > Lutz

Posted by kyle87DS on 9/1/23 at 7:13 pm
Remember XPs got moved to the 15 yard line from the 2 in 2015 (I believe). So Lutz and Hartley's XP% isn't comparable. Imo Lutz was much better and fell off due to injuries and confidence coming back from it. Hartley became an alcoholic, big difference in situations. This also not in anywa...

In a team full of difference makers, you could tangibly point to the run difference our opponents would have if he was playing 1B versus any other player on our team. ...

Rookie league is the lowest, but there are several classifications within Single A. ...
Exactly. The only time Drew took a deal that reset the market was in 2012. Each year after that he was taking discounts. Shady is FOS. It drives me even more mad because he is trying to credit Rodgers as more of a team player than Brees....
