Hey now! I didn't say I used that trick to make 99 overall players.... I use it to make a 70 something or low 80's player for my team if I failed to recruit that position the season before, and I've used it if there is a lack of some position available. I used OLB'...

I really enjoy the recruiting. I wish the computer were better at it though, if you stage your recruiting based off of interest, you can sign 25 4 and 5 star players over the course of a season and, if you do your promises right, you can drop anyone you don't need.

You're misunderstanding what scouting does. It doesn't change a rating, it reveals it. If you think a player is an 83 at 0% scouted, and he ends up at 78 after being scouted, then when you signed him he would have been a 78 either way. If you don't scout the player who is 83 at 0%, and you sign him....
