best defense in baseball as well. not the royals of old and it is freaking people out. yes worst franchise in baseball for a long time. things are changing for the better, the right people are coming back to help (Brett, Sweeney) for example. Ownership, while still crippling, has begun to spend MORE...

David Glass is actually a well-known Cardinals fan. That's why he doesn't give a shite. Royals could spend a lot more money than they do, however he rakes in the most profit from his franchise than any other owner in baseball by keeping payroll low....

I continue to become more and more cynical about last night's loss. We finally have a legitimate shot to get into the national title game and (in playing a tradtional offense in FSU) I believe would have had a good shot to win it with the confidence our guys would have had.
