I was at an Estate Sale yesterday in Lake Oswego(Portland) that was the estate of his sisters descendants. They had books from Gen Patton's own library that were inscribed by his father and grandfather. Sadly not autographed by him. They also had a table from his library. You can peruse the pictur...

I have shipped over 50,000 packages through USPS. I've only had 4 packages that were lost. Two of those were overseas, they made it to customs but never left. Those two countries were Spain and Italy. I still ship 10-20 a week by USPS. Far cry from my 100-200 per week I did before I retired two...

Here it is in a nutshell as I see it. People in China don't invest in China's stock exchange because the government is in charge. The government of China periodically crashes the market when it is advantageous to them. That's why China's population does not trust nor invest in China's stock marke...

When I was a midshipman at the USNA(Annapolis) we had a tradition called going over the wall. It was a way to show our spirit for football games. Running through the streets of Annapolis and not hurting anybody or anything. It was a rather tame affair. It was usually Friday night just before the g...

Unless you're Willard 10,000 in a large arena rats are useless. They are more concerned with surviving than doing damage. Everything depends on the size of the arena and if you have control of the beasts. If it's any football stadium then the rats are useless. If it's smaller arena like a Basketb...

That's a common misconception. Oswald only had to get off 2 additional shots in 6 sec. Think about it. He fires the first shot then you start counting. He only has to make two more shots in 6 seconds. That's much more time than a trained marksman like Oswald has to do. He had from the beginnin...

The day after the second shot I had severe chest pain every day for two weeks. I have never had chest pains before. The n...

re: Does that count as “shooting down an enemy aircraft”?
