My Coach would instill this in us. Pitch to contact! The best hitting team in the nation is only safe at first base .333 % of the time. An average hitting team is safe only .250 % of the time. While a batter that is walked or hbp is safe @ 1st, 100% of the time. ...

Watching gm on TV & texting my sons! With none out and two runs in 8th, sent HWG- HWG (Here We Geaux). One son’s text at 11-6 “can it be”.? The texting went on until the end of game culminating with “best come back since rally possum”. All can say is wow….glad I didn’t turn off!

Fowler made his debut on the mound in grand fashion last night striking out all 4 batters he faced! He had great command of his breaking ball able to get it over plate for called strike and breaking off the plate for swing and miss. Would like to see him get more appearances. ...

Fowler looked great! Struck out the 4 batters he faced, including the first batter that had a 3 & 1 count. Settled down and was able to get the breaking ball over for a called strike. He needs more opportunity!...
