Sorry, but the "common opponents" comparison is absolutely useless. I'm glad you only posted the stats themselves and not any conclusions drawn from them....
lol what rock have you been living under, JordanfortheJ? :spank:...

Of course he will get offers. I imagine he will do his thing at A&M for at least a few seasons until they get really really good though. ...

Haha holy shite, I was responding to a pg. 1 post, but that is hilarious. I remember looking at an Alabama brochure when I was looking at colleges and at the time, there was some kind of automatic acceptance policy of if you had the equivalent of a 2.0 or 2.5 GPA. I thought that must be a mistake, ...
Thought it had something to do with WWII (or some other war) and a lot of Aggies going to war while the UT alums stayed at home and sipped tea.
There were something like 20K Aggie officers in WWII. Most by far of any academy/school outside the official military academies (Westpoi...
Oh, and  to the OP from me as well. Seems like I've been waiting all week to see a sensible, humble Bama post, but this place is just full of chest-beating douches...
They are middle of the pack and will continue to be so. Bama and LSU will guarantee they lose 2 games a year. When Arky gets a coach that's another loss.
This shite is hilarious. Most obvious wishful thinking post I've seen on the Rant in a while. Guarantee? Every game we've ...

Just checking, but is the "sidewalk fan" definition the same as a t-shirt fan (e.g. MOST texas longhorn fans with their $10 walmart specials)? And if so why sidewalk fan? ...
10. Texas A&M- Solid recruiting class for the Aggies, but will struggle in the SEC
Hmm, where have I heard THIS before? I will say, this team will be completely different from last year's, given transfers and new recruits (J-Mych baby!), so it's got to be hard to ra...

Y'all are right. I confused the definition to think that Texas' population dilutes its significance in that ranking, though I do still stand by my statement that there aren't any values in that table to give any kind of context to the argument. ...

I'm saying our conditioning helps us off-set our lack of depth. Ask anyone who watched us against Okie Lite last year and then again against La Tech-- it's a night and day difference from last year....
I don't know how many plays per game Alabama averages, but it doesn't compare to La Tech. I don't care what KIND of team or offense you are, if most of your starters are playing 100+ snaps straight without taking a break (obviously certain DBs are subbed in and out for diff situations) it doesn't m...

I'm saying that ranking of states (which doesn't show any actual values, so for all we know there could be a .05% difference in Alabama and Texas) is going favor smaller, football-crazy states. You wanna show me what percentage of Alabama's population plays which high school sports? And Texas? ...
