Exactly Boxcar. Also, like a previous poster just said, there are many more first downs than third downs. Also, downs don't tell you the whole story.

Offense was historic
Defense sucked
Offense = 24th Nationally PPG, 6th SEC
36th Nationally YPG, 7th SEC
Defense = 21st Nationally PPG, 4th SEC
15th Nationally YPG, 4th SEC

No, they had 3 timeouts to start the drive. Used all 3 after each play. No penalty and we kick a FG, same time left on the clock....
