I'll be safe and say Ole Miss. It's easy to say Arkansas right now but if they get Tyler Wilson and those other starters back they can still be at least somewhat decent. Scoob that is a good point, Arkansas definitely helped last year. I also think it will depend on how close the LSU - Bama game in Baton Rouge is. If it's a blowout either way then no rematch, but if it's close like last year I could still see it. I think it also depends on what happens in the USC/Or...

The problem with WVU though is they aren't used to playing a tough schedule. They play Oklahoma and Oklahoma State back to back. WVU the last few years is similar to FSU in the 90s (without the NC's of course) in that WVU in the Big East had 2 to 3 games in a season that they had to bring their A ga...

West Virginia hahaha thanks for the good laugh. West Virginia loses at least 3 games in the Big 12 this year. They won't beat Oklahoma, Texas, or Oklahoma State. West Virginia is too used to the soft Big East schedule, it will take them a few years to adapt to a real conference....

I agree the likelihood is no, but then if the answer is no who is team that prevents it? I just assumed it would be USC but after the Syracuse game today I'm not sold on them at all. Oregon is the only other real threat in my opinion at this point. Outside LSU/Bama college football is way down this ...

TigersforEver I am definitely conflicted on PSU this year. Part of me wants to see them burn to the ground and go 0 - 12 for the next 10 years and never return to the college football elite. It's going to take a long time for me not to look at them as a school that protected a pedophile for the sake...

Saints players just got another reason to have a great season, if p*ssing off Roger Goddell wasn't enough. Sure this isn't Katrina and lets hope it stays that way but a lot of people have lost a lot in this storm and these players need to play even harder for those people now....

The biggest reason won't be the storm, it'll be long gone, but the state of Louisiana is not going to want over 90,000 people attending a game and possibly impeding emergency response and creating a possible gas shortage. Something tells me Goodell and the NFL will be finding a solution after week 1 when CBS and FOX are pissed that games are going 3 1/2 - 4 hours long (when the regular NFL refs have always been good at keep a good 3 hour pace to the games) and all their advertising revenue gets screwed up. I echo the sentiments of others, be safe. It might be a longer drive but I would go up to Birmingham and then go over through Memphis and Little Rock to get to the game. On your way back (if you are going back to Panama City) you should be able to go through Louisiana and Mississippi....
