I wear a thin chain with my dead father's dog tag from Vietnam under my shirt. I cared enough to post a response, but not enough to lose sleep over someone else's opinion. ...

re: Any of y’all been to the Angola Rodeo?
Posted by Fast Eddie on 3/3/23 at 10:31 am
I went 12 years ago. Get there early enough to get a decent parking spot.
Make sure to check out the lifers selling their arts & crafts... some good stuff to be found and some absolutely fascinating conversations with the guys willing to talk.
The rodeo itself was pretty fun excluding the baw...

I had an HT Club 40. I found the high gain settings very shrill. It's a perfectly fine pedal platform and the cleans were very good. The resale value wasn't great. ...
re: Burrow thread: looks like he's with the same girl

re: For those of you who lost your father, how old were you when he passed?
Posted by Fast Eddie on 1/10/22 at 9:41 am
47. He passed away at age 72 last April. He had been declining physically for a few years, so it wasn't a complete shock.
It still gutted me, though. Some days, the only things that keep me going is my wife and kid. Also, I can imagine him yelling at me to pull it together....

I used to work with a Bama fan from Lafayette. Probably didn't jump on that bandwagon until 2007. Without divulging too much, he basically tried to get me fired because I was an LSU graduate. Then the 2019 season happened and I left for a much better job shortly thereafter. frick that guy. ...
