The #1 US half of the bracket will be:
US-Switzerland/Belarus and Finland-Czech Republic/Latvia.
The #2 Sweden half of the bracket will be:
Sweden-Slovakia/Norway and Russia-Canada/Germany.
I like the US half of the draw soooo much better.

We don't have to. Good teams recruit themselves. People go to Parkview to play baseball without anyone asking them to. People would move to Lutcher if they wanted to play for them....

This game is actually huge.
I'd rather not be on Russia and Canada's side of the bracket in the playoffs. Getting the #2 seed would put us there.
The #1 seed would put us on the other side.
Go Sweden....

The US will be the #1 seed in the playoffs if Sweden beats Finland or Finland wins in OT or a shootout.
If Finland wins in regulation, Finland will be the #1 seed. The US will be #2.
And if Canada beats Germany next, they play Russia in the quarterfinals. :rotflmao:

Matulis dressed out and pitched all the way until the SEC tournament, then disappeared. Chad Jones didn't really become a reliable reliever until the college world series, particularly game 1 of the championship series.
Chad Jones emerged, so Matulis took a back seat doesn't really work....

Matulis was still on the SEC series roster when Chad Jones came back on the team.
So Chad Jones getting a pitching job didn't really keep Matulis off the postseason roster....

He'll be alright.
I really liked him last year, and he was good for a little while. Then it seemed like he freaked out and lost it. Then he didn't make the postseason roster.
Do you know what happened to him?...
