It's pretty clear that Payton wants to move on from Russ in 2024, hence the benching now to prevent injury guarantees kicking in. While he is probably the best chance to win now this ain't about 2023 anymore ...

Syracuse football needs any glimmer of optimism, so I'm very pleased with the hires so far. First order of business has to be to lock down, or at least improve the recruiting in Northeast and expand from there...

Should be a good game. Cuse struggles from 3, see if they can get Justin Taylor going. Scoring will come from backcourt of Mintz + Starling and McLeod can be a nuisance on D just via his 7'4 frame...

Guy was a complete tool and elicited no respect from his players. Also the offense was as bad as anything I've ever seen from a professional franchise over the last 5 games and I watched every game of the 0-16 Browns with DeShone Kizer at the helm...

As someone already mentioned in this thread I have to imagine there is a Michigan connection here.
The owner, Ross, literally has his name on the UM Business school and there has been a ton of smoke with Harbaugh back to NFL. I don't think you fire Flores here unless you have a lock solid commit...
