Authentic NOLA is what I am looking for. Will pay for a pricey meal, but it doesn't have to be fancy - as long as it is authentic. I've been to NOLA once about 10 years ago. Enjoyed a Friday lunch at Gallat...

Trip is coming up and I am psyched. Daughter and I have been working on our golf games and getting ready. Here is the rough itinerary:
Arrive Tuesday, March 19 - Drive to Baton Rouge via River Road, do a tour at Houma House, eat at Roberto's.

Yes they did renovate Shoal a couple of years ago. The changes are fantastic.
I haven't been down there since November. Will miss out this trip South, which is too bad. But will be there in April. :usa:...
