re: Is frigidaire a good brand?

Had a Frigidaire refrigerator prior to 2016 flood. Was a great refrigerator. Ended up getting a great deal on a whirlpool when we bought new appliances - and that one is great too. Good experiences with both....
I have Chubb. Jerome Ford was drafted in my league - not by me. Tony Jones Jr and Matt Breida look like the two best options in my league....
I started him - no idea why, but I did. Now I gotta figure out who to sit for Sunday....

I wouldn't want two WR on the same team - and I like Pittman this year. 8 catches on 11 targets for 97 and a TD in week 1. With a rookie QB - looks like Richardson is gonna lean on Pittman pretty hard throughout the season....
As someone who spent almost 20 years in the concrete industry in one way or another - I’ll say this to the ones saying prices are too high or companies are leaving their profit margins high or whatever: do it yourself. Get your arse out in this heat and excavate, set forms, place steel, order the mud...
They really tried last offseason to address the OLine issues. Actually - I think they did a pretty good job signing 3 and drafting another to improve those positions. Injuries have hammered them there and there’s really nothing their front office could do about that. Credit to them for addressing (s...
It’s 5 floors with a mezzanine in between the first and second floor. Ground floor and 4 decks. Also - they didn’t switch concrete suppliers. I work for one of them (im on site for a week at a time every few weeks). It’s the same 2 concrete suppliers that started the job. We each have our own scope....

Take a look at Manuel Builders - that size is in their wheelhouse. They build their plans on your land. They’ve done a few in Ascension Parish recently. ...
Grady Melancon is the land owner. He isn’t just a developer and home builder. He is the owner of Sorrento Lumber and Sorrento Concrete. Stands to make tons of money - not just on the potential increased value of the land - but also on the sale of a majority of the construction materials and concrete...
Check out the construction going on at 415 and I-10 in Port Allen. That’s Amazon. Being built right now....

The company that I work for will not send out a truck with any amount of concrete on it for less than $850 plus tax for a non account customer. That’s a flat rate that we are charging anyone who calls in looking for 5 yards or less. As far as labor to form/place/finish - you can probably find a fin...

Orange Beach/Gulf Shores Fishing

Posted by lsuchip30 on 6/27/20 at 10:38 am
Headed to Orange Beach last week of July. Plan on fishing while we are there - haven’t fished that area in years on my own. Been on a few charters out of there in years past but never really fished there on my own. Anyone have any recommendations on places to go and what bait or setup to use? I was ...

re: Concrete Saw

If you’ve never operated a concrete saw, then I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s dangerous if you don’t know what you are doing - and if you want a straight cut to the proper depth to accommodate clean tear out and removal of concrete - once again, I’d let a professional do it. It can get away from you p...

Clemson doesn’t have the DLineman that Auburn does....
It’s gonna crack no matter what - fiber/wire will help the tensile strength. Compressive strength will come from the concrete mix. A typical 4” thick cast in place concrete pour will crack every 10’. You can place keyway in it or sawcut/tool joint at intervals to reduce cracking - but neither wire n...

re: Demo Concrete in Back Yard

You are probably talking 2-4 cubic yards of concrete - anywhere from 8,000 to 16,000 lbs (or possibly more) of material that has to be broken up then hauled off. That’s at least one roll off dumpster worth - which is about $400 right there just for the roll off. Those can only be filled about halfwa...
