But Pearson just has “it” & is Mr Clutch & is gonna hit in the middle of lineup
Why do you keep using this “it” thing in all of these posts referring to multiple players?...
You mean, you don't care for any stats that don't support your narrative.
Weren’t you hyping up our offense because they got a bunch of hits against VMI? I look at SEC games because those are the games that really matter and that is the level of competition you need to be able to ...

Yeah but they aren’t writing the checks for NIL...

I don’t really believe this. Who would benefit from this?...
I’m going to be honest, I don’t really care that much about any stats that aren’t from conference games...
It seems like every team that’s won since it started are teams that were built through really good recruiting/player retention.
Well yeah. But no one on here is saying LSU should build a team of transfer portal players......
Unless you have someone better who can replace them, they would be big losses....
Translation "we are not going to over pay." After the mason Smith experience, I'm with him.
They were offering Maason several hundreds of thousands of dollars to come back next year…...
Tigerdroppings, when the ball gets by Milazzo every game
I notice you disappear every time Braswell or Neal make an error. Why is that?...
We aren’t going to buy average players. Big baw TCU boy is overrated. Just wait and see.
We literally tried to. Some of y’all are in here acting like we didn’t offer him a shite ton of money. We did, we just got outbid....
Well you can look at SEC games. Milazzo’s OBP is .100 higher and his BA is .158 higher. As a result, Milazzo has scored 3 more runs than Neal despite having 7 fewer at bats. And he is much better defensively. Milazzo has 0 errors in conference play, compared to Neal’s 3. He receives pitchers better ...
But that’s the whole point. If we offered Williams $750k (which is likely close to what we offered) and nobody matched it, would you say it’s a bad pickup?...
If you win these next two series a mid week loss shouldn’t matter.
Why do you think this?...
And who gives a shite what anybody did in March or even April. Who's doing better right now?
Neal has 3 hits in his last 18 SEC at bats with 5 RBI. Milazzo has 5 hits in his last 17 SEC at bats with 3 RBI.
Just that his bat could be big in certain situations if he gets it goin...
As long as he isn't catching, fine with him DHing.
Absolutely no way you can have him DHing over Travinski...
Does it matter if they lose this game?
Yes...

Surely Lester will be here soon to point out the fact that Neal just gave Northwestern the go ahead run right?...
What do you mean by relying on it? We’ve seen plenty of teams have success with transfers. Obviously you want to recruit and develop well, but you are always going to have to spend money in the portal. Hopefully you can recruit and develop well enough to keep that to a minimum....
But would you not agree that it's better than them doing poorly tonight?
Well no shite. His point is that they have been able to hit midweek pitching all year, but not able to carry that over to the weekend. Until they actually start hitting SEC pitching it’s pointless....
