re: Cape Cod in July

Cape Cod in July is awesome. My folks had a place in Harwich Port dating back to the mid 1990's. Sadly we had to sell it in 2022 when our dad passed and my mother went into a nursing home. Lot of memories of the Cape and Harwich Port/Chatham is my favorite part. Hated selling as I don't know how...

Agree on the red beans and fried chicken. Outside of the wife’s (No pics) red beans, no one does it better. But you have to have a meat pie too. Be prepared for a to go box. ...

Just got back from Kona yesterday. We stayed at the Fairmont Orchid. Beautiful property and I would stay again. A bit pricey, but that’s Hawaii. ...
Din Tai Fung for lunch or dinner. Dumplings are phenomenal. ...
Breville Barista Touch. A little pricey but wife thinks it’s well worth it and better than Starbucks. ...

For excursions, the Juneau whale watch is legit and I would absolutely book this. The train from Skagway was my least favorite. There was some bridge that has been out of service for several months so the trip was cut short. Otherwise, there is not much to do in Skagway itself so maybe find an ex...

I took the Bliss to Alaska this past April out of Seattle. Great ship. If you can, get a cabin in The Haven. Worth the money. Wonderful cruise. Would do it again but would go a bit later than April as it was just a bit too cold. ...
I previously put Royal Caribbean ahead of NCL but the experience with the Haven was excellent and would cause me to choose NCL over the others. But only if I had a Haven cabin. If not, I’d go with Disney but they are proud of their ships and charge accordingly. ...
This cabin is similar to what we had. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=ncl+bliss+haven+harr+travell&t=iphone&iax=videos&ia=videos&pn=1&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dco0RhVMEj7I This cabin is not in the section of the ship that is designated as the Haven but you have Haven access a...
We went toward the end of April which was their first Alaskan cruise of the season. Previously the ship had been doing a California to Mexico cruise. We paid maybe closer to $7000 if I remember correctly. They were still limiting passengers and it was early. I’d probably do it again a bit la...
Sounds pretty nice on Disney though they have nice cruises regardless of the concierge offering. After our stay in the Haven, my wife said she can’t see herself cruising another way. It didn’t hurt that we had a nice cabin too. It was a suite with a huge balcony. NCL has come a long way over...
The Haven is legit. We took an Alaskan cruise out of Seattle on the Norwegian Bliss. Our cabin was on the very back of the ship with a large balcony looking to the rear but it was considered part of the Haven. You pay more but in return you wait for almost nothing. You get escorted onto the ship e...
