Buddy picked me up to play golf one morning and had a brick on the floor of his olds. He was notoriously tight, cc had broken and he wouldn’t pay to have it fixed. When up to speed he slid the brink over the excelerator peddle....

Louisiana has a tagging program you can sign up for. Your tags are registered to you and cards can be emailed or mailed in with the information on the fish; length, date, area tagged, notes....

No idea what OP is talking about, our reds in SW La are caught by a guide, tagged and released by guide and board member.

Dad had two BLR's, 257 Roberts & 308 but i never asked him what he did with them. Assuming he traded for the BAR's me and my brother have, wish he wouldn't have.
I have a winchester 22mag lever but have no idea the #.
Checked cabinet after my post and discovered a marlin 22 lever my brother won on...

PFD’s are more times than not body recovery devices. I can only shake my head when I see kids in small craft on the channel and zero pfd’s on.
Not sure if they still do it but life insurance had a 5 or 7 year waiting period for pay out of a body was not recovered....

Replace only when spools get get low from dumbasses tangling line casting over each other or hanging up in trees.
Typically this is once a year on avg but dependent on who’s in boat....

Neither boat on your list will be comfortable, would look for a 20’ blue wave, Kenner, frontier,. Guess you could even go down a couple feet and get your required results. Bay boats are so much more comfortable to move around in and navigate with than boats where you are sitting on the floor.
