In 1974 as a junior at Ville Platte High School had an Ag. class that let us use welding helmets/shields to watch the solar eclipse. People making way too much of the danger if proper eyewear is used. ...

Legend has it that Melville was a town that Huey really hated and vowed to have it destroyed as a municipality. Melville today, no gas station, no school, not much of anything useful to the people. Last grocery store closed down about a year ago or so. ...

Twice actually. Once into a ditch similar to video and the other trying to load into back of truck. Only difference was a lawn tractor vs. a ztr. Embarrassing to say the least. A neighbor help with the ditch incident, truck incident had to crawl out from under. Thankfully no injuries other than ...

Homeowner's only went up $15 per month w/ State Farm. Had to let the flood insurance go. It went up by about 60% and I live in St. Landry parish not even close to a flood zone....

Loved trying to help young people realize their full potential. Knew the pay wasn't great, but unfortunately the bureaucratic headaches and paperwork initiated by people who never set foot in a classroom as a teacher finally did me in....

I don't know if his name was mentioned previously, but Eric Andolsek will always be remembered by me as one of those guys that epitomized a Fighting Tiger. Died much too young, but was one of the best to ever play offensive line at LSU. IMO...

Popeyes uses egret pieces. Skinny, mostly bone with lots of batter. Quality has gone down a lot over the years, much like a lot of other fast food enterprises....
