I literally JUST got back from this area. I would strongly suggest that if you are considering the Fairmont on Lake Louise you should reconsider and stay @ the Moraine Lake Lodge. They are around 20 min or so apart and Moraine Lake is Sooo much nicer and less crowded. [link=(https://morainelake...

One of the world's most recognizable / famous butchers (dario cecchini) is also from that region. His shop and the connect restaurant is also worth the time. ...

On the phone currently and can add much more however a “must eat” for me is Buca Mario for bistecca alla fiorentina and grandmothers pie for dessert. Also, best gelato we had all through Italy was in Florence such a romantic city. Slow down and walk the city at dusk. Make you way up the hill and...
Thanks...last year or so we decided to get outdoors more. The little guy (7 in May) has really taken a liking to being out in the parks , tent camping, seeing the wildlife upclose etc.. The park rangers tell us all the time they wish there’d see more younger folks visiting the parks. ...

Wife and I spent a similar about of time in Italy. We had the pretty standard Rome, Florence, Venice plans. What made it easier for us is that we flew into Rome and out of Venice. Few notes: Rome has amazing history but Florence stole our hearts. It’s simpme the ideal hub for many days trips. D...
Park # 5 for the little guy and me. Trip was planned prior to the arctic blast that came through Jan 4-6. Overnight lows touched 12 F and remained below freezing most of the day. Sunny weather helped as we hiked through the park. 30,000 acres of the last in tact bottom growth hard wood forest in our...
Thanks. I registered the little guy and just a few days later received an email that it had been canceled. Just going to enjoy the holidays and wait it in until TSA spring session. Summmer camps will have the registration numbers to host camps in sure. ...
So, are you close enough to get him into the Blackhawks FC in Houma?
I am pretty close to this organization. I'd say roughly 20 min drive to where they practice, host tournaments etc.. I've heard both positive and negative about the Blackhawks. From what I understand some of t...

I appreciate all the feedback.
Whatever camp is closer to the house to be honest
Looks like BRSC Winter Camp will have a TSA player in attendance. Look forward to browsing the Soccer Board from now on.....
Thanks folks. I completely agree with everything that was offered. Simply stated for someone who has literally zero soccer background my main interest is that he continues to enjoy the sport and is taught the fundamentals correctly. The BR camp promises Santa will make an appearance ?? The Thib ...

Thanks everyone for the feedback. And for the one poster who mentioned hunting and fishing I meant no map intent by my comments. Well unlike most OTers I don't hunt, fish or party lock a rock star. I spend $$ on multi sport and small production, higher quality clothing / shoes. Shirts cost way less than a fancy rifle / optics or even more so a boat. ...
