sitting at MSY right now waiting to get on a plane to Denver. From there we are driving out to Nebraska to hunt some river/creek bottoms and ag fields. Fishing there this past weekend saw a couple hundred teal as well as big ducks. Seems really late to be seeing them this far to the south but always awesome to watch them ...

A good buddy of mine invited us down to his house boat in Venice marina to fish that weekend. I know the river is high and we really do not have large enough boats or enough knowledge of the area to try to get after specks, especially if its windy. That being said, i was wondering the OB's advice ...
