I know it doesn't work like this and the results speak to the contrary, but Florida is still a dangerous team. ...

Some rumors floating around that BM will be replacing Lupo. All hearsay at this point, but would not be altogether surprising. I felt like he'd get 1 more year to see what he could do with the 2025 class of LLWS champs (and his son, etc). I think they only really lose 1 guy, loaded 2025 class, an...
Rummel 2001 was baseball America’s number 1 for a while
That team was loaded. They fell in the rankings when a bad Brother Martin team beat them in extra innings. BM brought in their ace in the late innings after pitching a complete game 2 days before. The rag arm days.

Nobody really knows. We can all look at precedent, etc. But, the committee has never been completely predictable.

Holman will either completely shove or be a train wreck against his former school. I predict a butt whipping one way or the other. ...
Sounds like Latino has resigned from BM. We’ll see what happens to the head coach soon I’m sure.
I thought he was retiring. I think he was looking to retire a few years ago. If retirement, I don't think we see any change at head coach. If resignation, I think the head coach posi...

Arencibia no hit Curtis earlier this season. Claverie, Rummel's #2, threw a 1 hitter against them the next day. But, that was almost 2 months ago now. I feel like Rummel is damned if they do and damned if they don't as far as pitching Arencibia against Curtis or not.
But, I agree, I'd save S...

If I recall, Rummel and their fans had Schmidt flustered, chirping back and forth, etc. I would love to see Rummel and Catholic as the finals. ...

If I recall correctly, the Rummel-Catholic game had a weather delay in the semis last year. Rummel let Arencibia continue after the delay, but Catholic pulled Schmidt. Is that accurate? I wonder if weather will play into the decisions. I don't think weather was supposed to be an issue last year a...

I would start Arencibia and not think twice about it.
I would think long and hard about starting Schmidt against Acadiana.
Ryan Martin’s arm is probably held together with fishing line
He's actually perfectly fine. He wasn't a hard thrower and threw a breaking ball correctly. I'm all in favor of pitch count rules, though.
Emerson Gibbs threw 190+ pitches against Rummel in 2012. His counterpart,...
