haha, feast or famine there. My point is someone like Bill Snyder, never with an elite team, wins tons of close games.
The SEC owns championships so any coach comparison has to be championships only, everyone else leave the room...

we didn't define clutch did we. I picked close games.
True clutch coaching I remember is that hook and ladder the Boise coach ran a few years back....

yeah Les and Saban have squirrel thoughts too I guess, but over time they seem to win more close ones the most SEC...

no, if 7 pts was looked at probably would be similar. When Spurrier was at Florida he just had very few close games. He was crushing everyone.
Most using clutch here to mean championship coaches I think, not winning when outcome is in doubt ...

if clutch is winning close 3pt or less games then only Richt, Miles, Sumlin and Saban win over 60% of their close games. All other SEC coaches including Meyer and Spurrier are 50% or below in close games :dunno: :dunno: javascript:AddSmileyIcon(' :dunno:')...
