The rumblings have been going on for a while. He may well sit and spin his wheels in the trailer park but its not unthinkable he gets the urge to prove his merit on a larger stage. I agree that Bama is his last college stop. ...

IMO Taylor was coming to keep the leash on Speaks. Stay in his ear to deter him from being swayed. Now that we have a new OL coach coming in that supposedly has some pretty good recruiting chops - all of sudden Taylor's not coming. Speedy is gone and that's OK. I would've loved it if he'd chose LSU but he didn't. The good thing abut it is that of all the recruits to lose - losing Speedy hurts the least. LSU/Miles has shown they don't always get the most out a his skill sets. Losing GWIII hurts a lot more.
