After about 3 years, you would end up with 12 SEC teams in the Premier division and you would essentially have... the conferences as we know them today.

Have no idea about relegation in the EPL but.... No way I can see OU being below KState/TCU because of a single year. CFB does still have the "college" element

You couldn't do this system because in college football a team in the second tier could be good enough to win a national title. A better system would be bottom four of a P5 conference being relegated to the Sun Belt, Mountian West, etc.

Is this something that is set up each season? So top x amount move up to the next league next year? So a team might need 4 years to get to get a shot at a championship, then all those players are gone? This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.
