Sumlin & Strong Want The Texas-Texas A&M Rivalry Back

Texas' Charlie Strong and Texas A&M's Kevin Sumlin both recently expressed interests to ESPN that they would both like the re-new the rivalry between the two schools.

"That game is so much a part of this state," said Strong, who is entering his second season at Texas. "Over 100 years, we've played that game. Why stop it now because we're in different conferences? At some point, when it's right for everybody with the different schedules, I would love to play Texas A&M again."

Texas A&M and Texas last played each other in 2011 before the Aggies joined the SEC in 2012.

Texas leads the all-time series 76–37–5 dating back to 1984.

Strange home page article just to get a shot at the all-time record, and even then you got that wrong. Shouldn't this be on the A&M page, along with the articles about John Chavis? By the way, the A&M/Texas series is even over the last 30 years. Texas and LSU beat A8M all the time when A&M was a small all-male military college. Congrats, I guess.
