Former Florida head coach Steve Spurrier was recently asked about Florida State possibly joining the SEC...
quote:

“Yea, if they come into the SEC, heck, that would be good, I think,” Spurrier said, via On3. “And maybe bring Miami or Clemson, I guess would be the other one that would be a possibility.”

Enough is enough..... more teams dilute money per school and championships harder with too many games.

If the SEC is going to expand again, I like FSUcks, Clemson, UNC and NC State. Miami is a 100% no go, bad fit.

Can we drop Missouri

NC would be better. No Florida issue)

Well, the ACC might just dissolve if all the teams have another landing spot. Their TV contract is awful, so it would be better for them all to find some place else to be.

I love the man but he's lost his mind. Too many licks to the nugget. He's ... let's face it, he's probably dealing with some senility, a little dementia, these days ... obviously.

Noway FSU comes up with 120 million to leave the ACC. FSU has had problems buying out coaches since bowden left.

I don't want Clemson or FSU. frick Clemson. And if we have to take another Florida school, I want Miami. I don't know why the SEC needs to keep expanding, we already have the best teams and the richest programs. But if we have to, give me UNC or Duke. A North Carolina school would be a good addition.

Miami is not a good fit for the SEC. FSU has passionate fans that understand the South. Miami fans are largely bandwagoners that abandon their team unless they are really good. They can't fill an NFL stadium let alone a real college stadium. I'd take them in a heartbeat over Miami.

Kanell will be on suicide watch if FSU joins SEC.

That reason alone would be worth having FSU join.

We already have it. Adding more teams would just dilute everyone's share.

Why don't they just put every D1 school into the SEC and get it over with.

If they are going to expand, go to 20, add FSU, Miami, Clemson, Ga Tech, Ok St. Kick out Missouri, maybe. That way all the natural, in state, and historical rivalries are in the conference. 10 game conf schedule. All teams in the region. That would be just about all the NC's since 1992 in one conference. No other conference could match that.

Dabo would fight like hell to keep Clemson out of SEC. Dabo knows he CAN NOT win more than 7 games a year in SEC.

With Clemson. But when he becomes HC of Alabama - watch the dominating dynasty begin. It will be a blood bath for other SEC teams

Without Venables Dabo is not that impressive.

Venables will be back soon, he’s failing miserably at Oklahoma.
