Danny Kanell Says This Is The Year This One Team Beats Alabama
© Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports
On Wednesday morning, CBS’ Danny Kanell shared his opinion that Texas A&M will beat Alabama this season, due to the team naming Haynes King as their starting QB as his biggest reason why...
quote:

“Now that King has been named the starter I think this is the year Texas AM beats Bama,” Kanell wrote.

A&M will never win the SEC… Jimbo is overrated and this is click bait.

A first year starter, thats all it was gonna take to put A&M over the hump on Bama. lmao, if he was so fricking good, why'd they red shirt his arse.

Because Kellen Mond has pictures of Jimbo with an underage hooker. Aggie fans don’t understand it either.

If Brennan played we would have beat THE FAGGIES LAST SEASON.

Brennan is not all that good. Brennan loves to hold on to the ball forever and a day. No idea why he likes to hold on to it too long every single snap, maybe for a souvenir instead of actually trying to throw a td or a first down.

I want this to happen but Kanell has more retarded opinions than anyone pundit I've seen.

so one of these hacks decides that this is ATM's year. Then another one hears it and repeats it, and so on, and so on..........Michigan, ATM, Georgia, Oregon, USC, Notre Dame......all these teams get all the love in the preseason, then actual football happens!

Kamel is truly one of the dumbest “analysts” in college football history. Losing your entire offensive line from the previous year while breaking a new QB is not exactly a winning recipe for beating Bama. That and the fact that Saban is 655-0 against former coaches…. Just can’t comprehend the A&M love. The media is just trying to will them into a good program. It is amusing.

so a quarterback that has never started before is going to beat alabama.

the "never started" argument is a weak one. There are plenty of QBs that play great during their first year starting. That said, I don't see A&M beating Bama this year.

Well, they have already beat Bama since joining the SEC. So saying it’s THE year is misleading. This would be A year they beat BAMA
