Mine is regarding the defense. It seems we have been very sluggish reacting to outside plays of any type. Maybe I've been spoiled the last 2 years, but I keep expecting to see our backs and backers blow up lateral plays, not give up 5,8,11 yards. It's been the bain of my existence this year and it doesn't seem to have improved.

The emotional level of the Bama team knowing that this will possibly be the last meaningful game for Saban.

Referee shenanigans
Dallas Turner head hunting Beck
The investigation Bama will open against us if we win.

We have to be prepared for Bama having big plays. This is not Bama with a first round QB. He is not gonna kill us in Intermediate passing game. They will take shots down field and will hit some. We have to limit those and limit QB scramble runs on 3rd and 8. Also, have to not let them establish a meaningful running game.

Bowers is playing...Kirby said he could have probably gone against GT but during warm ups they decided to pull him
His helmet was on and ready to go regardless

My biggest concern is Alabama using the same run concepts that Auburn and GT did with much, much better offensive players. Those two both hit 200+ rushing yards on this defense. If Alabama approaches 250+ rush yards, we probably won't win this game.

I don't think Alabama uses as much misdirection.
But stretch and QB counter are definitely in their playbook.
It will definitely be a tough matchup.

Keeping Milroe in pocket, and Bama pass rush. Success in both and Dawgs will have a good chance. These types of games are usually won by team that controls line of scrimmage and finds a way to win the running game.

Our DBs covering those deep Milroe lasers.
Our freshmen LBs setting the edge on running plays.
Our WRs and TEs being all being healthy.
Officials allowing late hits on Beck.
I was in the hospital last week and watched the game there. Glad to be home and here again.

Bama’s QB isn’t going to be running a lot of called plays between the tackles. It’s not their thing.

But he will be running. Count on it. After watching Gt, etc

His runs will be QB draws and scrambles. Not dives off read plays.

It changes in the red zone.
It is why they are one of the best teams at red zone td percentage.

My biggest concern is whether or not kiby goes with a red or black visor. I don't have a black one to match.
Yet.

In the red zone, the RB does the dive and QB reads the outside keep. Opposite of what Tech was doing.

QB can also read on the jet motion and cut it up the middle. Inside counter or HBack insert leading the way.
