LSU fans on the rant seem convinced that the SEC is seriously considering moving the Florida game up a week so they can accommodate their makeup game.
Personally I think it is totally unrealistic but it's apparently gaining steam on Twitter and the media. Finebaum mentioned it this morning on ESPN.
Anyone with the inside info heard any rumblings?

Never happen. First, we have had to deal with hurricane issues as well and it would be a new level of moronic to move a game of such tradition.
Further more, jacksonville is not just going to up and cha m ge short of the hurricane damage being greater than thought.
Any one spreading such a rumor is a mouth breathing moron.

I have no insights on what they will do but I do believe there is a chance this happens and the game gets played in Athens.
Coastal GA and Norrh FL got hammered. I seriously doubt the islands will be ready by the 29th. Saw a picture of Crap Trap & Crabbdaddies on SsI yesterday there was 4 ft of water. And they are 2 blocks from the Beach. I haven't seen King and Prince , but it has to have some issues.

Jacksonville won't agree to it; that city will be ready in a few weeks to host. Now the surrounding areas and islands are a different story but they don't get a say in the matter. Unless the playing surface and stadium is deemed to be unsafe for players and fans, the game will be played as scheduled.

I don't think it will be moved. LSU fans are just pissed at UF, don't blame them.
