Motherfricker I've ever seen on any message board ever. It makes me wonder how Jefferson has time for all these alters.

How are we overreacting? Does our offense not look terrible? Outside of the run game, our passing attack looks pretty weak. Sure it is only 2 games, but you can already see the 'picture' but it will be much clearer after the Bama game. If a team can stop the run, then we might be in trouble. If you can't tell we have struggled on offense vs VANDY, then need to put down the koolaid.

I don't see how Richt shitted the bed so bad w/ the qbs the past 2 years. Thank god that A Murray stayed for his Sr season, b/c if not that would be 3 years in a row with an avg qb at best and even then we are putting all our hope in high schooler, Eason.

I'll answer the question.

Lambert is inconsistent. Against good defenses, he'll throw two picks per game, and get sacked 4 times per game, not because of the OL, but because his pocket awareness is shitty.

Losses-

South Carolina
Alabama
Auburn
Georgia Tech
Tennessee
Missouri

Every draft eligible junior leaves the team like rats from a sinking ship.

Pruitt takes HC position somewhere.

Shottenheimer takes Asst Position back in the NFL.

All of our top commits for the next class decommit.

Our program is left in shambles. A decade of failure is upon us.

Lambert's ineptitude has very real and far-reaching consequences. Don't be so short-sighted to think it's just about a couple of W's and L's and "We'll get'em next year." If this shite keeps up, there won't be a next year.

Here's the deal-

With good QB play, we are an NC contender.

With shitty QB play, we lose 5 games.

How Richt handles our QB situation right now is of utmost importance. And if he is just going to keep praying about it, he's fricking incompetent. Does he really beleive God gives a flying frick-sickle about any of this shite?

Pray for peace. Pray for health. Pray for rain. Praise his name and thank him for everything you have.

But every second he spends praying for a solution to this situation is another second lost in actually doing something about it.

But what can he do? How the frick should I know, he's the one who gets paid $77,000 a week to figure it out. If he can't, frick him. There's plenty of other people in this great expansive country that could figure it out for $77,000 a week.

I am inclined to think that we are keeping it as vanilla as possible until the Bama game. So far, we are using mainly base blocking into stacked fronts. Few edge plays with a guard or tackle wrapping to the edge as lead blockers for Chubb. I don't recall seeing an inside counter with a guard/center wrap yet.

If we have a field stretching passing game, it has not been shown. I would find it very disturbing if I learned that we do not have more intricate packages we are sitting on until USCe comes to town......maybe even Bama if we can handle USCe remaining vanilla.

For me, I am waiting to judge after the next two games to see if this vanilla looking scheme is all we have or if we have just been holding back as strategy.

I don't see why u hold back against a conference division opponent. That vanilla offense talking point doesn't carry much weight after yesterday.

Working on a post about how the past participle of "shite" is "shat", not "shitted", but just looked it up and "shitted" is acceptable.

Wild.

Carry on.

I've been using "shitted" since 2000. I remember the moment clearly... I was at the bar in a West Cobb Applebee's and meant to say "shat" but it came out "shitted" and it made my story funnier, I guess, and the bar erupted in laughter. I've been using "shitted" ever since.

The outcome of yesterday's game was never really in question during the first 3 quarters. The defense had Vandy on lockdown. The pooch kick recovery made things dicey in the 4th but once again, the defense took care of business.

You hold back because you are confident you can win without having to expose more of your scheme/playbook than required. It is just smart strategy. However, I understand that it fails to inspire fans who need a 51-6 type of win over Vandy so they can thump their chest all week. Coaches probably don't care much about satisfying fans by throwing the more sophisticated packages out in week one and two against far inferior competition.....especially with USCe, Bama, and UT looming in the near future.

That is total bullshite. The OC refuses to run the toss sweep so we can surprise teams with out bread-and-butter play? So stupid. Every team knows that play wins the chips but the OC doesn't have a fricking clue. If Schotty doesn't run it against USCe he should be fired.

There is so much hyperbole in this thread that it's hard to even take seriously.

"A decade of failure upon us". Haha now that is damn funny.

There is no way that Lambert is worse than Joe Cox. We will be fine. No, I don't think we will win the NC with him but I think the offense gets settled down enough to get us to Atlanta. With a terrific D, stellar RBs, and better special teams than we've had in years, we are just missing the great QB play we have all been spoiled with. I think Lambert will improve every game enough to get it done.

I would take Cox balls deep, right now.

Imagine Cox with a badass defense, and our running game.

Now think about what you've seen from Bambi the last two weeks.

Anyone who wouldn't take Cox right now over Lambert is football stupid or really young.

I believe that we will see a lot more runs to the edge this week along with a few inside counters with zone blocking for Chubb to be able to cut back into space. I will also expect to see more edge screens instead of only middle screens to both Chubb and Michel.

I get the frustration but I feel that Shottenheimer is employing a process that our early season schedule was able to accommodate. Perfect the base stuff and inside power game first while we have opponents where we can. Vandy had 7-8 in our box all day and we still managed to dominate the run game.

While I think the run game scheme will evolve from simple power scheme to having a balanced inside/edge attack starting this week, I am concerned about the passing game. I would expect that we have packages with Blazevich dragging across into the soft spot between the LBs and safeties, skinny posts, etc as well as more vertical WR packages but I am not sure that any of our QBS can make the proper progressions to make it hurt the defense.

Cox was a damn good QB who might have won a SEC east if he had our present defenseive coordinator. Dude threw 24 TDs in 2009 and was pressing like hell on the 15 ints. trying to match opponents score for score. We gave up 34+ five times that season.
