ETA: That sounds awesome Jefferson. I'm guessing not just anyone can go up there. Didn't even know about it. I'll have to ask some hunting buddies next time I'm in the area.

Woodstock was a good place to grow up in. At the time, it was just on the outer rim of urban expansion and wasn't really close enough to 400 or 75 to draw a whole lot of attention (like Roswell, Milton, Alpharetta have done over the past couple of decades). It was a good mix of suburban and redneck, had access to the wealthier sides of life closer to 400 and some of the more rustic areas to the North and West which is where msot of my family lived/was from. Now it has kind of taken on a more developed personality similar to Kennesaw or Roswell.

I grew up in Conyers, lived in Atlanta briefly, lived in Clayton Co a couple different times, and I'm currently in McDonough, GA. And based on the current housing market, I don't see that changing for a long time.
