I dont think it was 0-12 but USCe went 2 and 10 or something not too many years ago....and tech has gone close to 0 for a season in my lifetime...and at one time they were more dominant nationally than we have ever been....it is not outside of the realm of possibility that we fall into Vandy / UK / Mississippi State style irrelevance...in fact the odds are about as good of that as us becoming an Alabama type dynasty for any length of time....

Oh my God....OMG....OMG....
Kirby sucks ...Kirby sucks....
Saban...McElwain...
4*....5*....3*....
Damn man...take a breath and relax. Or keep running to post at halftime about how much Kirby sucks...either way ....doesn't matter ...it's a marathon not a sprint. We're not even one season in to the post Richt era.

You know, Squatch....you COULD answer his points. But when you guys get cornered with facts, statistics and solid common sense arguments you resort to trying to make the opposition look clueless. Just like a Democrat.
Tell us something RD said that was wrong.

We have been one of the most consistent football programs in the history of college football when it comes to winning. But you're right. We are the next Vandy.

No...they went 0-11 in 1999 I think. I had the privilege of attending their win against us the following year when Holtz was coaching. Donnan was HC and Quincy QB in 2000 I believe.

Talent deficiency was a HUGE problem on his first team. Brought in a loaded recruiting class and sprinkled in some veterans in his second season, and it turned around with the quickness.

What we have lost to Vandy in the history of our program? 25 times...not many considering how many times we have played them...we have lost to them 3 times in the last what, 10 years? It is far more likely that we go the way of Vandy or GT than Florida or Alabama....

Wow,sounds familiar...so we should expect 10 wins next and a top 10/15 finish,
correct?

Wait,so the players he inherited bought in to his system? The Jr's and Sr's weren't a cancer?Gee,how on earth did that happen?

Which ones? The same ones that have been brought up over and over? And I could make the same arguments that everyone else has made over and over?
No talent.....No coaching.....No talent .....No coaching. Also...which points?

Funny, didn't hear much about it with McElwain,Mahlzan,Saban or even CMR but with Kirby defender its SOP
All unique circumstances and irrelevant to UGA in 2016

He was DC for one of the greatest defensive minds in CFB.He was also knee deep in 5 star talent. You think Bama misses him one bit on the sidelines? You don't think Bama fans aren't estatic with Pruitt?
Uhhh....yes, they have tons of talent and worked for a great defensive mind. Yes....there probably very happy with Pruitt as he stepped into a great situation. None of this is relevant to CKS and UGA in 2016.
New coaching staff needs time. We haven't won the SEC in 10 years...waiting another 2 to make a run isn't the end of the world. It's not like we've never lost to Vandy or TN or FL before. You guys need to get a grip.

For this season we are already there. Whether we stay there next season or not is the question.

Freakin amazing

No. I invalidate your points. What Malzahn or Saban did where they were is irrelevant. How much Bama likes Pruitt is irrelevant.
But please...drama on....

Very good topic. Right now in my mind it's a toss up.I am disappointed how Richt took a huge shite on us and went running. I'm willing to give Kirb's a chance with his recruits,if he shits the bed next year,he should be heavily looked at as being a DC somewhere else

All bullshite aside...it's hard but I'll try.
Have we underperformed this year. YES!
Is it coaching or Richt or talent or recruiting or player attitudes? YES
Does Kirby deserve some time to get his kids together and at least have the time to put whatever vision he has together to see if it pays off. YES.
I'll support him until he gives me a reason not to...which will be at least a couple of years.

Richt will retire after '18 season. Kirby will win a NC in '19.

Saban is a different breed, but yes expecting significant improvement next year is not unrealistic.

Florida's defense was LOADED with NFL talent. I didn't say anything about anyone buying in, but he stumbled upon one of the 3 most talented defenses in college football.

If Matthews and JHC don't herp derp that Hail Mary, no one remembers Malzahn's first year.
