It's absolutely absurd the wealth of talent we have in those two. Gurley is the best RB of the 4 but this has to be the best RB duo Georgia has ever had. I mean it is fricking stupid how good they are.

Chubb and Michel are starting to remind me of Lendale White and Reggie Bush at USC. Forgetting their NFL careers for a moment, those two were amazing in college. Everyone remembers Bush and the flashy highlight plays he made (Michel), but White brought the power, was unstoppable in short yardage and had breakaway ability as well (Chubb). Because of the publicity Bush got, White was one of the most underrated college RBs of my lifetime and was the hammer in that USC offense.

ETA: Michel isn't as good as Bush yet, but his skills are absurd.

AS running backs go, it's not close. As far as football players, it's a lot closer.

I mean it is but whatever. People have this stupid notion that Michel can't run between the tackles or that he's not a 'real running back.'

He and Chubb obviously have different skill sets but that doesn't make one less valuable than the other. It's ok though, by the end of the season people will see.

Every time either of them touch the ball, it's exciting realizing they can take it in for 6. From anywhere on the field. Damn we are spoiled at RB.

Eh me all you want. Ypc tells the story. Do you think Sony is ever going 21 for 159 on a heavily taped ankle? Do you think he's averaging over 8 ypc if he has to go between the tackles? If you do, I can't help you or anyone else with those delusional thoughts.
