Did anyone else think that the run-heavy game plan was in-place because they weren't sure what the weather would actually be like leading up to the game? I mean, the entire week the thought was that it would likely be played in sloppy weather. I figured it was completely intentional.

I think so, especially since they knew it would at least be windy.

They were dipping the footballs in buckets of water before handing them to Eason and Lambert in practice, last week. I think it was run-heavy by design.

Most college coaches like to just let the players develop on their own. I'm sure Chaney rarely spends time with Eason. I bet they hardly know each other.
